Fri, Mar 5     Hillsborough County Health Care Plan Study Committee Meeting
                    The Health Care Plan Study Committee will meet on March 5, 2010 from
                    9:30 a.m. - 11a.m. in Conference Room B on the 26th floor of County
                    Center, 601 E. Kennedy BLVD. 
                    The committee is discussing steps that can be taken to sustain financial
                    viability of the Hillsborough County Health Care Program.  Guests are
                    encouraged to attend the meeting.

Fri, Apr 30, 9 a.m.      The 2010-2011 Charter Review Board will hold a series of meetings
                                   to conduct a comprehensive study of all phases of County
                                    government.  All meetings will be held at County Center,
                                    2nd Floor Boardroom, 601 E. Kennedy Blvd. in Tampa.

March 22-24   LWV FLA holds its annual Legislative Seminar in Tallahassee.
                       Leaguers hear from experts about issues that impact Floridians. 
                       At least 3 of our own will be attending. Why don't you join them?

Fri, Apr 23  Mark your calendar now for a major celebratory luncheon at the 
                      Tampa Yacht Club. That's when our 5th annual Lifetime 
                      Achievement Award will be presented to league member Jan Platt,
                      who is still providing  leadership to worthy nonprofit groups after her
                      distinguished career in elected public service. Mr. Alan Wright, aka
                      Mr. River, will be  posthumously honored with the 2010 Sydney & Thalia
                      Potter Community Leadership Award.  Make your reservations by clicking
